"Good Afternoon sir, Where is room no. 404 ? ",me and my new friend Shailesh asked. Shailesh happened to be my first friend at the Kathmandu University whom I met on the bus while I was coming all the way from Baneshwor to 28 Kilos on the same day. Luckily,he was from the same faculty.
"Why guys,why do you want room no. 404",the teacher replied in a very polite tone.Then,My friend told him that we had a class on room no.404 and it was getting very late.
"Oh, just go straight from here and you will find your class on that building",which he showed us by pointing on the building.
As we were very late, we were not able to say thank you in a proper manner. However, we said ,Thank you sir and ran towards the class.
Coincidently the teacher was just entering the class.We both were already very nervous and became even more after we entered the class. The teacher started the class ,introduced himself and talked something about the Kathmandu University. That was the single class held that day. Then we introduced ourselves to some few guys and made few more friends.
After the class was over it was already past 12 : 30 PM and we went to eat something from the canteen asking people we encountered on the way. The college was very large and more like a maze. To go to single place you can choose a different path. How cool is that ? !! As,the college bus leaves at 4:00 so we had a plenty of time to ravel around the college. The weather that day was so vivid. It was such a good day. The college seemed more like coming to some fun place rather that a place where you study. Climbing some bigger and some smaller hills, watching the KU football matches, throwing stones on the pond, going to the library all of which was very enjoyable that day. Even the library was not boring at all.
After then, it was time for the bus as the watch was ticking on 3:51 we were able to manage towards the bus .
This was my first encounter with the Kathmandu University. From that day and now on I am enjoying each days here , each days being very memorable in my life and I am really happy to be here.
